Jennifer Lopez was born in the USA on 24th July 1970. She is of Puerto Rican descent.
Her
debut was as a dancer for the TV show "In Living Colour". She is one of
those rare people with multiple talents. She is a dancer, a successful
film actress, a singer, and now a model. Her most successful film was
"Selena".
She is probably most famous as a singer, having
several successful hit albums, her latest being "J.Lo" and recently
launched two fragrances “Still” and “Glow” perfumes. She had a long
term relationship with celebrity Puff Daddy, who produced his own line
of clothing, and music albums but this ended early in 2001.
In
2000, she has been contracted by L'Oreal Cosmetics as the face for
their beauty products. She will go on to model a great many beautiful
products in the future. Jennifer's latest venture is as a Fashion
Designer. In Autumn 2001, she presented a collection of Denim based
clothing, which the store MACY's gave all it's window space to promote.
Jennifer was married briefly some years ago, to male model
Ojani Noa, but this ended in divorce in 1998. Jennifer was married for
the second time to choreographer Chris Judd (32 years old) in
California on September 29th, 2001, wearing a Valentino gown. However,
this marriage also was unsuccessful and she divorced Judd after a few
months. She was engaged to actor Ben Afflick and had planned the
wedding, but it fell through and Jennifer is alone again now.
Louis
Vuitton, the famed Paris house run by Marc Jacobs, has chosen Jennifer
as their signature model for 2003 and she is appearing in their
advertisements and on their website displays.
In April
Jennifer is opening her first fashion store in Moscow to show her J-Lo
garment line. She is also planning a multimillion dollar advertising
and marketing campaign for the J-Lo Lingerie Line. |
